About Gladys Knight
Gladys Knight was born on May 28th, 1944 in Atlanta Georgia. She was a singer who won seven Grammy's since the start of her career. When she preformed at Ted Mack's The Original Amateur Hour, she won at the age of seven. She then started her own musical group with her brother and cousins the next year. A few years after that, Knight and her group began to tour. She continued with her group, The Pips for about a decade before they all split up and she started on her own. Knight continued solo for the rest of her career, working with a friend or two along the way.
